All Tesco For Business orders will receive free and secure delivery via our courier partner (minimum order of £/€1,000 required). All orders will be dispatched on receipt of payment. Please allow up to 4 working days to receive your gift cards from receipt of payment. Refer to the Tesco Gift Card Terms & conditions for more information.

  • What value do Tesco gift cards come in?
  • Tesco offers pre-denominated Tesco Corporate Gift Cards for UK and ROI customers.

    UK denominations:
    £5, £10, £15, £20, £25, £30, £40, £50, £75 and £100

    Reloadable Gift Cards can have a maximum balance of £1,000. E Vouchers can be loaded with any value between £1 - £300

    ROI denominations:
    €5, €10, €15, €20, €25, €30, €40, €50, €75, €100, €200, €300, €400 and €500

    Reloadable Gift Cards can have a maximum balance of €1,000

  • Does the recipient earn Clubcard points when they use their gift card?
  • Clubcard customers can use their Clubcard at time of purchase. Points are awarded as normal when you use your Tesco gift card to buy goods at the till. They'll earn 1 Clubcard point for every £1/€1 redeemed.

  • Are there any fees associated with Tesco Corporate Gift Cards?
  • No. There are no fees associated with Tesco Corporate Gift Cards. You will only be charged the face value of the gift card (for Gift Cards there is a minimum order value of £1,000/€1000. Order values below this will incur a shipping charge of £7.95/€7.95. E Vouchers have a minimum order value of £100/€100 and are sent via email with no shipping charges

  • Can I change the value of a Tesco Corporate Gift Card after I've paid for it?
  • Not at this time. You would need to request a refund and reorder the correct value. Refunds cannot be given if the Order has been activated.

  • How do I cancel the purchase of Tesco Corporate Gift Card?
  • If your wish to cancel all or part of your Tesco Corporate Gift Card order please contact our customer service team on 0345 6000 968 (UK) or 01 215 2526 (ROI). Cancellations cannot be made once Tesco Corporate Gift Cards have been activated.

  • What payment methods do you accept?
  • We accept cheques, bank transfers, on account or debit,credit card payments (we do not accept American Express)

  • What is a credit card Security Code and why is it required?
  • In order to protect you from unauthorized transactions, we require your credit card's Security Code.

    The Security Code is the 3-digit number printed on the signature panel on the back of your card. It immediately follows the account number.

  • When is my credit card charged for my purchase?
  • Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase. This purchase will appear on your credit/debit card statement as Tesco Stores Limited or Tesco Ireland Limited.

  • What are the shipping options?
  • E Vouchers: E Vouchers will be sent via email. 
    Gift cards: Depending on when your order is placed and payment is received, it may take up to 4 business days to process and ship your order.

  • How do I check my order status and delivery?
  • Once your Gift Cards are shipped, you will receive an email containing the courier shipping tracking number. You can follow the status on the courier’s website.

  • Where can I ship my order?
  • Gift Cards may be shipped to valid street addresses within the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. For your protection, we do not ship to Post Office Boxes.

  • How are Gift Cards delivered?
  • Gift Cards will be delivered via our 3rd party courier in a sealed envelope or package. A signature will be required on delivery. The delivery will include your gift card order, an activation leaflet and order summary.

  • Can I buy a Tesco Corporate Gift Card for myself?
  • No, currently we only sell to business via this web portal. Please visit Tesco stores & Tesco Ireland stores to purchase individual Tesco Gift Cards.

  • Can I spend my Tesco Corporate Gift Cards straight away?
  • No. Your Tesco Corporate Gift Cards will arrive inactive. You will need to activate the Gift Cards prior to spending them. You will receive activation instructions along with your delivery. E Vouchers will be delivered activated and can be spent immediately.

  • Where can a Tesco Corporate Gift Card be spent?
  • You can use your Tesco Corporate Gift Card in any Tesco store in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. Tesco Corporate Gift Cards purchased through the corporate channel cannot be redeemed online. Purchases made from Tesco UK Petrol Stations are excluded.

  • When does the Tesco Corporate Gift Card expire?
  • Tesco Corporate Gift Cards have a 5-year expiry date from activating or last transaction.

  • Do I have to spend it all at once?
  • No, you can spend some or all the money on the Tesco Corporate Gift Card. Any remaining balance will be saved until your next shop and lasts for five years.

  • Does the recipient earn Clubcard points when they use their Tesco Corporate Gift Card?
  • Clubcard customers can use their Clubcard when using a Tesco Corporate Gift Card to buy goods at the till. Points are awarded as normal and customers will earn 1 Clubcard point for every £1/€1 they spend instore.

  • Can I use my Tesco Corporate Gift Card at a self scan checkout?
  • Yes, you can select Tesco Gift Card as a payment option.

  • What if I have a problem using my Tesco Corporate Gift Card in a Tesco Store?
  • Please contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 50 55 55 and choose Option 5 in the UK.  Please contact Tesco Ireland Customer Services on 1 850 744 844 in ROI.

  • What happens if I lose my Tesco Corporate Gift Card or have it stolen with a balance still on it?
  • If this happens please contact the business who issued you with the Tesco Corporate Gift Card immediately. Alternatively, you can contact the Tesco For Business customer service team on 03456 000 968 (in UK) or 01 215 2526 (in ROI). You will need to have the 19 digit gift card number to hand so it is important to make a note of this when you receive your Tesco Corporate Gift Card. Where possible Tesco will freeze any funds and organize a replacement Gift Card.

  • What exactly does the recipient receive when I send an E Voucher?
  • An E Voucher is an electronic Tesco Corporate Gift Card that is sent via email. The links you purchase will allow customers to retrieve the barcode. Customers are required to print this and take into store to spend. This page also gives simple instructions for redeeming the E Voucher, including printing instructions.

  • Do I need to print my E Voucher in colour? Do I need a special printer?
  • No and no. Most standard office and household printers are equipped to print E Vouchers, and you do not need to print in colour. Some printers produce great results, and older printers sometimes don't print certain images well, but the most important thing is that the Barcode is clear. If it is not, you may need to install a new ink cartridge.

  • Is my order secure?
  • All personal and financial information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing state of the art technology for consumer protection. Behind the scenes, your web browser is sending all personal and financial information over SSL. The Gift Card purchase process is fully PCI DSS compliant

  • What if an E Voucher is lost or stolen?
  • Your E Voucher has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your E Voucher, contact Tesco Corporate Gift Card Support immediately on 03456 000 968 (in UK) or 01 215 2526 (in ROI). If your E Voucher has not been redeemed or has some remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new E Voucher for that value.

  • What if someone makes a copy of my printed E Voucher?
  • Our state of the art technology inhibits fraud, but you must safeguard your E Voucher for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your E Voucher and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the E Voucher is tied to the unique 19 digit Gift Card number / Barcode. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the E Voucher. If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your E Voucher, contact Tesco Corporate Gift Card Support immediately on 03456 000 968 (in UK) or 01 215 2526 (in ROI). Any value that has not been used can be re-issued to you in a new E Voucher.

  • Who is CashStar?
  • CashStar is a Blackhawk Network business specialising in Digital Gifting that allows consumers and businesses to securely order and send Gift Cards over the internet. CashStar's focus is on developing a secure payment technology platform and service dedicated to bridging the digital and physical divide. CashStar is fully PCI compliant.

     Tesco Corporate Gift Cards are powered by CashStar.

Tesco Corporate gift card UK petrol station exclusion

From March 26 2018, Tesco will no longer be accepting Tesco Corporate Gift Cards on any purchases from Tesco petrol stations and customers will have to pay using an alternative payment method. This exclusion will include both fuel and purchases made from the kiosk. The cards can still be redeemed in stores.

  • Will this change affect the Tesco Corporate gift cards I already have, and not just cards purchased after March 26 2018?
  • Yes. This affects all Tesco Corporate Gift Cards – and includes both plastic and digital cards.

  • What if I try and use my card after March 26th?
  • Your card will be declined at the till and you’ll be asked to use an alternative method of payment.

  • Can I still use my card in store?
  • Yes you can.

  • What about Tesco gift cards I buy instore, or cards received from Tesco?
  • You can use all other Tesco gift cards in our petrol stations.
